you're looking (cough anywhere but TSN) there's been a lot of talk about what this lineup will look like Nikita Zaitsev Pillow Cover.I'm posting this to see if I'm looking at this roster right, so please share your thoughts if you disagree Nick Paul Hoodie.From my pov, it looks pretty straight forward.From where I'm sitting, we have 12 existing NHL forwards, 4 existing NHL dmen, and 2 goalies on 1way contracts (which might be their only saving grace).Then we have two guaranteed 2way AHLers that will play on opening night in Silfverberg and Wiercioch (you know you're hardcore when you don't need to look up how to spell those two :p) and there's a likely toss up for that last spot on the blueline between Benoit and Borowiecki) https://www.ottawafansstore.com/Ray_Emery_Flag-207.If I'm looking at this right https://www.ottawafansstore.com/Thomas_C...e_Mask-215, we have 4 left wingers, 4 centers, 4 right wingers, and Daug, who can either wing.We also have 3 left pairing and 3 right pairing D, plus a starting goalie and a backup.Quality of components aside, its a pretty good starting point for a team jumping into a schedule mid-season.The main question i have is about Silfverberg and which side he actually plays https://www.ottawafansstore.com/Marcus_H...e_Mask-170.For the longest time i thought he was a LW (and thats the assumption I'll be working with for this exercise) but recently I've heard that he actually plays or prefers the right wing.Anyways, if he does play the right side, it might be as simple as switching Michalek back to the LW. So... correct me if I'm wrong but LW: Greening, Silverberg, Latendresse, Regin (pretty dynamic and balanced on the left); Centre: Spezza, Turris, Smith, O'Brien (despite popular opinion https://www.ottawafansstore.com/Tim_St?tzle_Flag-263, i think this is about as certain a construct as there is for any team at any position going into the season; not moreso necessarily, but certainly equal); RW: Michalek, Alfredsson, Neil, Condra (again pretty much a lock); LD: Methot, Phillips, Wiercioch (not great but NHL caliber at the least); RD: that young kid, kinda scrawny...can't remember his name right now... Gonchar, and one of Boro or Benoit.
